Raible using a conglomeration of prototype sources to draw the poles.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">There were NKP drawings involved. It was also a combination of historical NYC and utility industry information he had found online to cross reference with.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The poles are 35&#8242; scale tall, and there is a hole on the bottom for mounting with a piece of wire.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Two versions are available, three arm and seven arm. There is also an optional 15-foot pole extensions for those wanting to use taller ones for crossing the mainlines and such. No weeding needed, ready for a quick sanding and priming \/ painting.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">The images showing the flex of these N scale arms was post processing. They have a lot of give.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">If you want to try printing these yourself you may download the files from <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/DanielRaible76\/3D-modeling\/tree\/main\/Nickel%20Plate%20Road\/NKP%20utility%20poles\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Daniel Raible&#8217;s github site here<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #800000; font-size: 8pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\"><strong><em>Many of our parts come with supports still attached, and will need to be carefully cut. We always recommend a good sprue cutter for this. We suggest wearing eye protection.<br \/>\n<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #800000; font-size: 8pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\"><strong><em>Parts that have had their supports removed may have some small bumps where the supports were removed that will need to be sanded\/filed off for a better fit.\u00a0\u00a0When sanding we suggest using dust mask and wipe with a moist paper towel so particles don\u2019t become airborne.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #800000; font-size: 8pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\"><strong><em>ACC glue works well for all our resin parts.\u00a0Parts take paint well after priming. We recommend Mr. Primer Surfacer 1000 or\u00a0Tamiya Surface Primer, but any good thin primer will work.\u00a0All parts come unpainted.<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #800000; font-size: 8pt; font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif;\"><strong><em>Parts must be primed\/painted if exposed to sunlight as the resins will continue to cure and may become brittle.
